Not at all. Most of our members, youth and adult, walk in with zero experience. Our coaches build every boxer’s foundation from stance and guard up, at a pace that matches their comfort level.
Our youth program welcomes boxers starting around age 8. Younger kids focus heavily on fundamentals, coordination, and discipline before any contact work is introduced.
Just comfortable athletic wear, supportive shoes, and water. We have loaner gloves and hand wraps available for new members while you decide on your own gear.
No. Many members train purely for fitness, discipline, and skill and never spar. Contact work is only introduced when a coach feels a boxer is technically and mentally ready, and only with proper protective gear.
Coaches identify boxers ready for sanctioned competition based on consistency, technique, and conditioning. If competing interests you, tell your coach — they will map out the path together with you.
